olor-board is a family business spanning 5 generations. We have been at Waltham Abbey in our 10,000 sq ft factory since 1959.

We offer curtain coating and contract spraying. We paint MDF, hardboard, plywood, veneers and chipboard. The curtain coater applies an even amount of paint creating a smooth finish, a very durable finish, any colour can be matched to apply to flat surfaces such as MDF Medite Premier.We do a lot of priming using our universal white primer. Painted MDF from Color-board is used by shopfitters, builders, we supply building site hordings using our 5 year exterior paint opticoat.

Our conveyor line can run 350 sheets per day, some clients send in trailer loads of MDF for priming with our white universal primer, the finish is super smooth and saves alot of preparation work on site. Turnaround of a trailer can be 24 hours.

In our 12' wide spraybooth we make and spray simple one piece kitchen doors and drawers, bathroom panels and vanity panels using moisture resistant MDF from medite, a high quality brand with a dense surface for curtain coating.

We supply 'peg' or 'perforated' hardboard for the mobile tool van market.

We supply painted building site hordings for the construction trade.

We supply 3.2mm housing quality hardboard bath panels. We also stock the chrome angle strips.
